Did anyone else see the price of TVM Kits just went up from $850 to $1100 for the basic kits, and $950 on the builders' kits. I was a bit shocked. I understand they have to raise prices to be profitable but ML'ing is beginning to become a very high dollar sport these days.

Have you by chance purchased any groceries, gas or lumber lately? Not unexpected. That money may be needed elsewhere for necessities, and it will not buy what it used to.

Chambers locks went up to $250. When they were $195, I used to get them wholesale for $145. Someone has to cover the increase. Probably be the customers not the sellers.

They do have to make a profit. Hear.wood has gone up also.

There was virtually NO inflation up until the 20th century. I remember the inflation of the early 1970s. Nixon tried freezing prices and that still had no effect on inflation. Inflation isn't "caused" by anyone, it's essentially a matter of more dollars chasing fewer goods. The start of the Federal Reserve began our modern era of inflation. Yes, it's more complex than that but if you want it in a nutshell..........

Just ordered another tent from panther primitives. It’s my fourth one through the years and I have catalogs from many years past. The price increase within the last year is unreal. Time to start doing what folks did many years ago and just make do with what you have or can make yourself.

I said that same thing 50 years ago when I got in to muzzleloading.
What goes down in price?
Wages!!!

Just paid $3.65 a gallon for gas yesterday
That's funny right there.
Filled up at $4.79 a gallon this morning. And, it's been going down a bit. But, that's for the California (bend over) Special blend.
At least half that price is taxes and the rest is to clean up the CRAP, needles and the homeless camps.

Should send ALL the homeless to HER gated community and let them stay in her house. ;)

Here, gas was $2.92 last weekend, propane was $2.55 a gallon last week also.

Wow gas is $2.71 a gallon here in Kentucky when I filled up this am.

The Natchez Poorboy is no longer in the line up either. Looks like the increase is mostly related to the cost of parts. I just looked at the prices in the upgrade page and it doesn’t appear the shop labor rates have changed. I’m glad I have enough parts to keep me occupied for several years.
