Howdy folks:
It's been awhile since I updated anyone on my health issues, and for what I believe is a good reason?
Things aren't going as well as they should at this point and I didn't want to appear to be looking for sympathy from y'all.

I've been listening to a number of you and I've taken your advice. I'm talking with new Doctors at the end of August.
I met with one ***** 3 weeks ago. SHE (says it all) wasn't even a DR. she was a PA/ DR. in training. She (my opinion) was just trying to kiss up to the surgeon she works for by setting me up with pointless tests and blood work? I get blood work every 3 months so that was useless.
I told the hospital "NO MORE of her" so they set me up with 2 real Cardio Pulmonary surgeons for a "look see" at the end of this month.
I wore a heart monitor for a week, but never heard anything back on the findings. So I say "no news is good news."
I still can't walk more than 75 feet without getting out of breath and having my heart race? A lot of times just sitting makes my hear "flutter."
I still say a lot of my medical issues were created BY the surgeons and medical staff? I have an electrocardiogram at the end of August.
No one would ever tell me for certain that I had a heart attack! When my wife and I confronted the head surgeon, his answer was "well, It sure looks like it"? That's NOT a solid YES. You know how the medical community is? Cover each others butt and pass you off to their buddy so HE can grab his share of your insurance money. I got sent to an "Arthritic joint specialist" after I had my stroke. He told me to bend over and touch my toes then he had me spread my fingers, took my BP and looked in my ears, and said "No issues here?" That set me back $1700.00 for a 12 minute visit? WHAT THE H- - l was that for, other than to help the hospital's bottom line?
I don't want to spend this time bad mouthing hospitals so I'll stop.
I just wanted to say Thank you to every one for their support and advice.
I'll try to update when I find anything out for sure.
God bless:
Dave

Hi Dave,

It does sound like you MUST change medical establishments and go to some doctor or group that REALLY wants to track down the problem and fix it! If your heart is damaged, it needs repair ASAP! Maybe a pacemaker would help, but even that won't fix your heart if whatever is wrong is not corrected first.

Don't rely on the medical establishment to give you the care you need. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so you and "Mrs. Two Feathers" need to squeak enough to get the proper attention. (The proper attention that should be the default, but sadly no longer is in our medical system.)

Please keep us informed as you're able. You have all our prayers.

Jim

That is too often the case, as we've found out in our dotage.

Once again, I bow to the wisdom of my peers. I take ALL advice seriously as I weigh it.
Thanks to all who've contributed. I'll try to keep y'all updated to the best of my ability.
I am anxious to hear what these new Dr.s have to say?
I apologize for misstating. My Dr. appointment with the new ones is the end of August, NOT the end of this month. I reread my previous statement and saw my mistake...Old age. :dunno: ;)

Prayers for you and yours.. Doctors and hospitals have their place, I suppose. But I've lived 68 years with my basic policy being, "You live longer by staying away from the medical community." Long list of injuries, I've pretty much done to myself over the years and I can proudly (maybe stupidly) say I have not been to a doctor in 15 years. Only see dentists and eye doctors when ABSOLUTELY necessary. But hang in there, we need your wisdom and common sense here.

Not sure how much Wisdom OR common sense I possess, but thank you.
I did the self-physician thing for 60 years, BUT then everything went to H all at once. A stroke in 2013, then this heart thing 3 months ago. So as much as I detest Dr.s and hospitals, maybe you getting a checkup ain't such a bad idea? I don't think we've ever dealt, but I look at everyone here as a potential customer and I need all of those I can get. Business hasn't been very good lately.
Thank you. Prayers for your continued good luck.

TF,
I hope they can figure out what’s going on and what the plan is for you soon!

Have you had a heart calcium scan?

I was short of breath & always tired , but no chest pains…

Got one stent last Tuesday & scheduled for another this Tuesday.

Good Luck🍀

The problem is you have to find an old guy with common sense because all these new people have been educated under what they call evidence-based medicine. In my opinion that’s just a good way to run a lot of test to get your evidence before you treat. It’s a bunch of nonsense because 30 years ago all you needed was a good physical exam along with an interview with the proper questions and your lab work was only to back up your diagnosis. Complete shift in thinking and complete shift in billing. Their Hippocratic oath is now truly Hippocritic. Keep shopping and be undaunted until you get what you need

That is the truth. Massive incentives from big pharmaceutical and massive persecution for those who thought for themselves. I lost all faith in the system and the CDC. Sad day to loose 100+ years of integrity and permanently damage research and practice. The total trash that they pushed out as phase 3 studies (with rimcyclovir I believe) and passed the fda on fast track should have failed as high school science experiment. I never dreamed I would see such a plummet
