Howdy folks:
It's been awhile since I updated anyone on my health issues, and for what I believe is a good reason?
Things aren't going as well as they should at this point and I didn't want to appear to be looking for sympathy from y'all.
I've been listening to a number of you and I've taken your advice. I'm talking with new Doctors at the end of August.
I met with one ***** 3 weeks ago. SHE (says it all) wasn't even a DR. she was a PA/ DR. in training. She (my opinion) was just trying to kiss up to the surgeon she works for by setting me up with pointless tests and blood work? I get blood work every 3 months so that was useless.
I told the hospital "NO MORE of her" so they set me up with 2 real Cardio Pulmonary surgeons for a "look see" at the end of this month.
I wore a heart monitor for a week, but never heard anything back on the findings. So I say "no news is good news."
I still can't walk more than 75 feet without getting out of breath and having my heart race? A lot of times just sitting makes my hear "flutter."
I still say a lot of my medical issues were created BY the surgeons and medical staff? I have an electrocardiogram at the end of August.
No one would ever tell me for certain that I had a heart attack! When my wife and I confronted the head surgeon, his answer was "well, It sure looks like it"? That's NOT a solid YES. You know how the medical community is? Cover each others butt and pass you off to their buddy so HE can grab his share of your insurance money. I got sent to an "Arthritic joint specialist" after I had my stroke. He told me to bend over and touch my toes then he had me spread my fingers, took my BP and looked in my ears, and said "No issues here?" That set me back $1700.00 for a 12 minute visit? WHAT THE H- - l was that for, other than to help the hospital's bottom line?
I don't want to spend this time bad mouthing hospitals so I'll stop.
I just wanted to say Thank you to every one for their support and advice.
I'll try to update when I find anything out for sure.
God bless:
Dave
Two Feathers
Hi Dave,
It does sound like you MUST change medical establishments and go to some doctor or group that REALLY wants to track down the problem and fix it! If your heart is damaged, it needs repair ASAP! Maybe a pacemaker would help, but even that won't fix your heart if whatever is wrong is not corrected first.
Don't rely on the medical establishment to give you the care you need. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so you and "Mrs. Two Feathers" need to squeak enough to get the proper attention. (The proper attention that should be the default, but sadly no longer is in our medical system.)
Please keep us informed as you're able. You have all our prayers.
Jim
