Howdy folks, Two Feathers here.

I’m horribly sorry for the delay, but it’s been nuts here? My wife is in the hospital after a knee replacement on the 16th. I was supposed to be here to take care of HER, that went to manure… huh? Now I’m home and she’s in the hospital.

Anyway, I had a visit from Snakebit and I have to say. I’ve never been some humbled in my life by an act of kindness like that? I can’t imagine anyone taking time from their busy life to drive 30 miles to wish ME well. ME, a stranger in a hospital, and a vendor from a website??? He was the most polite and unassuming human being I ever met. Thank you again Snakebit.

I was nearly driven to tears by the well wishes and positive words of encouragement that I found waiting for me on the website when I got home. I can’t address each one individually, but I tried to comment with a “Love” on each one.

A lot of you guys have NO idea who I am or what I do? So it was truly heartfelt and emotional when I read your comments. I’m really a nobody.

I’m running behind on my orders, but I’ll try my very best to get back on schedule to meet my commitments.

Oh, Mrs. Two Feathers was just told that she has Covid about an hour ago.

I’d like to thank my oldest son and Rodd Boyer for getting the word of my situation out to the members. Rodd and I speak almost daily.

May God bless each and every one of you:

Two Feathers
God will be there for you. You and Mrs. Two Feathers get well soon.

I hope all is well with you and your wife.

Yes, thank you. things are going as well as can be expected? A few additional complications have been uncovered, but I "think" I'll survive them?
Mrs. Two Feathers gets out tomorrow. She had a knee replaced and it's been a heck of a month for her. Well, for BOTH of us to be honest.
God bless you, and every other member here. Thanks to everyone for their concerns, prayers, and support. I'm hoping to be back working as soon as possible? I'm trying to do what I can for now without getting back in my shop? That means my dining room looks like a craft shop blew up in it.
God bless:

You're a good man. Maybe we'll meet again in the future? Mrs. T.F. gets home tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers.

Big AL52:
Thank you much my friend. I am truly sorry about my commitments, but I did not foresee this. Anyone who wants to, can cancel at any time with no hard feeling, I'll understand completely. I like to say" sometimes Life gets in the way." Mrs. T F gets out tomorrow. She's been in since the 16th. of Oct. Loooong time and she's ready. :~)))

I pray for a speedy recovery for you and your wife. You need to get back to making those beautiful knives. E..
Gvilleddie:
Thank you for your kind and flattering words. Wife is on her way home right now via our oldest son, so I'll be Mr. Mom for awhile.:~))
I have a beautiful Roach Belly here all ready for a sheath. It has some really gorgeous Curly Maple on the handle.

The Dr's and Mrs. TF's say I'm not good to go back to my shop for awhile. I'm trying to keep up with back orders here on my dining room table on things that don't require the shop. It seems they found some fibrous plaque in my lungs? Hopefully nothing, but possibly asbestos from my time in the Philly Navy yards, plus cow horn and wood dust? I guess we'll find out? I know I break the rules when it comes to using a respirator and I shouldn't, but no one ever accused me of being too bright? :~))))
I have 2 knives listed right now, but neither is getting any attention, so who knows what I'll do in the future?
Thank you again and please stay well. My prayers are with you and your family as always.
Hopefully I'll be back to 100% ASAP? It's all in HIS hands now.
God bless:

Thank you my friend. I can't wait until I can go back to working in my shop., but for now I have to listen to my Dr.s & the BOSS!!
I don't like using this forum as my own personal medical update board to members. So thank you Admins. for tolerating it.
Mrs. Two Feathers seems to be doing well? She's motorin' much better.
I can walk 150 feet without blacking out and getting winded Praise the Lord. So I'd say it's a win so far?
Someone please intervene if this gets to be too much. I know I'm really "bending" the forum rules, but I appreciate the leeway.

I hope the web Admins. feel the same? I've been a member here for a very long time and have made many friends that I can never meet. So after seeing the outpouring of support, well wishes, prayers, and concern, I decided to let my friends/customers know how we were doing. It appeared that everyone really care, so I started posting here. As I said, I know this "bends" the rules somewhat, but in many years here the Mods. and Admins. have been very supportive of me, and I appreciate that immensely. I'll never be able to thank each member personally, so this is the best I can do.
Thank y'all again.
God bless:
Two Feathers/Dave
