Stuff it full of synthetic grease. Problem solved.sure think it's a handy place to collect more fouling.

It's a pressure relief vent, it keeps the hydraulic pressure of the Mobile 1 grease being pumped by the hand from slowing your action, custom order feature from PiettaHaa!!! Like this one?

I'm working on this one right now!!! There's absolutely nothing to worry about. It's a "break through" from machining the hand channel.
No need to "send it back"!!! Lol

These are relatively cheap guns but they aren’t free either so it’s understandable that we want them to be closer to perfect. Not to mention they’re so different from modern arms most new users don’t really know what to expect from them. Thank goodness for guys like @45D and others who’ve seen thousands of these guns and can advise us as to what’s normal and what’s not.
Hmmm… small dimple (casting flaw?) at six o’clock!Just a little added assurance, here's my own Whitneyville. It's had a lot of heavier than "bp loads" and just last week had 20 +p's through it.
