Uberti Walker loading lever

I have 2 Walkers and I guess I am fortunate,neither one drops the lever at 50 grs or less. Only full loads and only occasionally...

I use a BLUE rubber band, so it blends-in with the blued gun. Using stout loads of 50+ grains of 3Fg Goex drops the lever every time, so after the clip finally broke, I never bothered replacing it--just use the rubber band, lol!

Yep! Sometimes you just take good advice and run with it. I do like seeing the photos from Curator though...

One thing is for sure--when I harvested my 300 pound Sow with my Walker and a 225 grain Lee conical I sure was glad I had the rubber band on the gun to prevent a lock-up while trying to cock the gun for a quick follow-up shot. I ended up only taking one shot through both lungs, but it was indeed nice to NOT have to deal with the dredded "droop", lol!

Sometimes simple is the way to go.
