I'm only looking for right now but I'd like to find a .54 cal percussion Under Hammer with a 32-36"X1" octagon barrel. PM me if you happen to have one.

Are you looking for prices or availability. They don't last long when they become available.

Prices, availability and also full description and pictures. I might be looking way to soon since I really can't buy until after the new year. I may even delete, if I can, my WANTED ad until then. It's just going to be toss up between buying a kit and trying to build one myself or buy one already built.

Buying one as a kit means you price is going to be pretty much the same now as after the 1st of the year. They are VERY easy to assemble and relatively inexpensive. You can also buy parts and pieces as the money is available. A completed rifle, new or used, will most likely cost you more and you won' t have the option of getting the barrel you want, unless you get lucky. I'm restoring a junk one now in .45 that should turn out pretty nice. Depending on the barrel you buy a kit will probably run in the neighborhood of $400 +/- then you have to finish it. Good luck.

I've been looking at the kit from Pecatonica River. Total is going to be about $600 including shipping.

Then you have to finish it. Don't rush, it's not a race. If the one I'm working on turns l'll probably market it.
