Undertaker sent me this pic of a bag. He really wanted one similar to it but with a two piece leather strap instead of what is shown. And gave me a 9 1/2 x 8" dimension to go by. I drew out some patterns on paper till I liked the way they looked and then transfered them to a heavier paper I have here and went to work.

I've never seen a bag like this up close and wasn't really sure how the smaller front pocket was made but I decided it looked best with a gusset on it and went that way.

This bag has gone together pretty fast, probably the fastest from making patterns to construction. I really like this one and may have to rethink my own bag for my rifle.

Thats Elk mocc weight leather Blizzard.

Swampy, where do you get your patterns from if I may ask? I want to make my own possibles bag too...

Lol, you guys have an idea shoot me a pt or email, we'll talk. I pretty much make bags to the persons preference.

Swampy great bag! Hope you don't mind if I ask some questions!
What weight of leather are you using? Is that a vegetable tanned leather? What are you using to color with, a leather dye or something else?
I am telling you, you got a talent for those bags!I really like this latest one!
