I have two GM drop-in barrels for my T/C Hawken style rifles and can attest to the quality and incredible precision they are capable of. Doing load development, shooting from 50 yds off a rest...the only challenge is to shrink the size of the one hole group I get from either one when I'm doing my part. I don't do anything with 54 caliber, or I'd own this barrel without hesitation. That said....if I knew back then ( 1976) what I know now...I would have ordered a 54 "Hawken" from Dennis Shirk instead of the 50. Ah Well.
Good luck with the sale. I apologize in advance if there's an objection to this comment.
