For sale is a one of a kind lantern I picked up recently. It has only a few vent holes at the top and bottom to allow enough airflow to keep the candle lit while emitting hardly any light. The otherwise solid body and doors keep the light hidden until it is desired. The double doors open to reveal an inner set of doors with natural mica panes. This set of doors also opens for lighting and extinguishing the candle. This would be a great lantern for use on sentry duty and similar situations where you don't want to give away your position with an exposed light, but want the benefit of a lit candle at a moments notice.
The lantern is very well made with no dents, dings or rust. It stands 18" tall and is 5" in circumference. It has both a bail from which to hang the lantern, and a handle at the lantern's back so it can be held more like a flashlight when in use. Price is $125 shipped in the lower 48 states.
