Rebel, I'm in NORTHERN Arizona. Right in the middle of a ponderosa pine forest. It's fixin' to snow here already. We get snow here every winter. You're thinking of below 7,000 feet. We're at 7,000 feet. :D

Raven, i know where Flagstaff is, been through there quite a few times on my way from Oregon to Winslow and the White Mountains. I was born and raised in Tucson. Starting to get a mite cold here too. Gettting so clod the ear wax freezes. Now, hows that for staying on the subject at hand. :: Take care.

Heh heh, a man goes through a heap of hand lotion up here. They say "it's a dry heat" down in Phoenix. Up here in winter, it's a dry cold! :D It's so dry, even the snow is dry. I'm not sure there's any actual water in it, frozen or otherwise. Why, it's freeze-dried and dehydrated water, that's what it is. A man has to be quick about dressing out game here or it up and dries out before you even get the meat into the cooler.

maxi - Before you get banned, please read and heed my signature, otherwise its gonna cost you dubble. :shocking: :shocking:

Regards, sse

As for earwax, it is a handy substance to use on a spindle end when building fire with a bow drill. Not good for waxing floors, however.

Hey! I just tried threading a strip of tic through my left ear and out my right. A self-lubing patch. Lean forward, press a ball in, cut it off at the muzzle and keep a shootin.

This is as good a find as the belly-button lint shotgun wads.

Actually, if you find someone with a spinning wheel and a loom, you can weave patching material out of that belly-button lint...

And to think, all these years you have been throwing it away...

If you wear cotton shirts , the lint is good for flint and steel fire making too! Just remember to remove it from the belly-button FIRST!
