God it's good to live in a backwoods redneck area in SC where common sense is still in use,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Due to some murky logic, you can’t ship a muzzleloading PISTOL. It falls under a concealable weapon, which you can’t mail at all.Youre confusing the issue. By BATF’s definition blackpowder muzzleloading pieces are NOT firearms
The PO has no right to ask you the contents of the package only if it is hazardous, flammable etc. And you have no obligation to tell them otherwise. My local PO refused to ship a pellet rifle! Miss Mammeries refuses to ship unless it’s FFL to FFL. If you argue and get too mean, she calls the cops who are ALL on her side for two obvious reasons……
Pony Express would get it there faster and in better shape! It’s on its way
I’ve never had a postal service employee ask me what I was mailing. Just, is it hazardous or perishable. And they can open and inspect any package. They tell you that when they ask if there is a gun in there. And yes, they are not supposed to, but the postmaster will set the box aside for inspection later.
