For anybody in the Portland/Vancouver area that's interested, the Cathlapotle site at Ridgefield NWR is having a series of presentations this spring, including a Lewis and Clark reinactor as well as a bunch of local native crafts (rope/basket making, local plants, flint knapping, etc.) The link should get you to the site:

The website hasn't been updated to reflect this springs doings. My wife (teacher) got an advance e-mail heads up. First event is 29 March, Reinactor of L&C member "Drewyer" .Time 12 to 4pm with a formal presentation at 2 pm.
