I've read on this forum about White Lightening vent liner. Does anyone know what size is required for a Austin & Halleck flint rifle.

You don't need to go there. Drill out the CVA style vent liner to 1/16" and it will do fine. You may want to file off a little of the liner so that it doesn't intrude into the powder chamber.

I drilled mine out to .070 and lightly countersunk the outside. It lights fast! I'm curious about a White Lightning too, but realistically, I don't see much of a need.
