Up for sale is a very rare 32 caliber TC Hawken Green Mountain Drop in barrel, as new. I bought two of these, mounted one and used it for squirrels. Brother never committed to the other so it has been in a closet. Time to clean out the closet. These are very accurate using the .310 buckshot from Ballistic products (8 lbs/$43). I am asking $465 shipped.
Added a bonus, 100 32 cal Maxi-balls

I will sweeten the pot a little. I will share 100 32 caliber maxi-balls (more available if you like them) These are pure lead, weigh very consistently at 99 grains and .323-326 diameter.

I have just found two of the maxi molds, 32 & 36 , and a small bucket of 32. I also have 45, 50, and maybe a 54. I am thinking that I will be doing some casting tomorrow is the weather cooperates

Sometimes folks think that there will always be another coming along and to be honest, it would behoove some company to start making these again. Looking at it another way, I am trying to move some of my stuff along to folks who will use it. If it doesn"t go to a new home, it will go back into the closet and my kids, who have no interest will sell it along with my machine shop stock for scrap weight...........bummer

Rice makes drop in barrels not sure if he sells breeched or not I use his barrels in all my builds !

I have used Rayl barrels for a Seneca 36 and used the drop for a Patriot 36, back when you could get breech plugs from Track. Had to be good at draw filing but you could make custom stuff. My Seneca has a 32 inch barrel and contrary to common belief, the stub 10" barrel on the Patriot shoots very tight.
That said, I use my $200 guns but my go to is a 1970's Hawken with a 54 GM barrel. Opportunities arise. I thought that I got a heck of a deal on a Hawken with a GM 54 and found it to be bulged about 5 inches above the chamber. Lopped it off, re-fitted it and now have a TC Hawken with a 24" GM Barrel.
Back at the ranch, the kids will look at a room full of reloading/casting/ and BP stuff and order a dumpster.

I'm really struggling on what to do with my "200" dollars guns when I depart this ******** were living in now, I have three kids and none have any interest with the guns but the cash would be another story. That 200 dollars adds up pretty quick if you know what I mean. In all seriousness I am having a .58 cal leman trade rifle built right now that has a 32"x 1-1/6" rice barerel and I'm planning on a 36 cal poor boy in the next few years already have a rice barrel for that and have a source for some original GRRW furniture. My .58 cal GRRW-CA Hawken has a original plum center barrel and is a tack driver! well sorry if I messed this thread up ??
