Pistol comes in VG condition, operates properly, timing/cylinder lock up is very good. This revolver was handled be previous owner but I don't believe anybody ever shot it. Comes in the box

Nice, do you know who made it? It's not a Traditions as Replica Arms was long gone before Traditions came on the scene. I couldn't make out the date code.

Replica Arms was an importer from El Paso 1962. The first Walkers were imported by them and made by ASM. All other revolvers imported by them were made by Uberti, Armi San Marco and Pietta. I think the A prefix on serial number is an ASM. After 1973 Replica Arms became Navy Arms. During the transition many were stamped Replica Arms Ridgefield, NJ. The address of Navy Arms. For those who collect, this is a good find.

Replica Arms was in El Paso (Leonard Allen) from 1963 to 1965. They were sold and moved to Marietta, Ohio (Ken Phelps). Navy Arms (Val Forgett) bought them in 1973 and they moved to Ridgefield, New Jersey. So you will see revolvers with all three locations on them. After Navy Arms used up all the Replica Arms marked parts they were just marked Navy Arms with the New Jersey address.

Date code looks like XXIV - 1968. Might be an ASM marked under the barrel.

I’m interested. I grew up in Marietta O.
You have the box covered up. Can you send a picture of it too?

To those who know more than me!! Is not hard to do in this topic!! It seems the frame is cut back like a cartridge gun for loading the cylinder?
