My Great Great Great Great Grandfather John Masterson was a Captain in the Continental Army, fought and served through the entirety of the Revolutionary War. His father my 5G Grandfather William came to America from Ireland in and around 1719. Watching this video brought thoughts and visions into my head of what he saw and experienced. Great post, thanks for sharing.

I would love to visit that museum but it will never happen. 😢

That's a shame, it really is a very good museum. My two sons (8 and 10 y/o) love it.

Last time I was there (summer this year) they had a bunch of their reproduction flintlocks out on the floorplate and I got to handle their P1776 repro and another curator delighted my boys by allowing them to create spark showers from his Bess musket.
