Here I go again with the questions. Does the Walker need a different nipple wrench? I have 2 that work on all my other percussion guns, but it doesnt work on my Walker  . Seems the flats on the nipple are wider and wont let the wrench go all the way down. Thanks guys for any help.

The distance across the flats on the nipples on my 1860 Colt measures .170.

The distance across the flats on the nipples on my Walker measure .185.

The width of the slot in one of my pistol nipple wrench measures .185 making it a tight line to line fit with my Walkers nipples and a nice clearance for the 1860 Colt.

I'm sure there are a bunch of nipple wrenches out there that are slightly smaller than the size needed for the Walker.

That said, a few careful strokes with a fine toothed flat metal cutting file can safely open up the width of the wrench so it will work on both guns nipples.
