I have a lifetime invested into owning, shooting, collecting and building smokeless rim fires and center-fires rifles. Own a great deal of "modern" shotguns and handguns and have shot competitively with all. I am certainly not ashamed of that. While I do own several black powder guns they will never come close to the happiness of what the previously mentioned firearms do for me.
Don't get me wrong, there is a place for all of them in the vault.
Life is more funner with a class III anything.

I don't think I've shot my MLs since turkey season this year. I still have a bear tag to fill so I won't be getting around to it for a bit yet. But I'll be taking that same shotgun out to the duck marshes & see if I can get a few teal with it this year.
