Well I have been thinking about buying a Gemmer Hawkin flint 54 for about a year. However, I am about to have neck surgery this month so I decided to wait. THEN I noticed I could get a 45cal barrel for my Lyman GPR percussion so I got one on order. I have always wanted a TN long rifle in 45 but really couldn't afford to have one built or have the time to build one ( and I have the parts to do it). Anyway, this barrel looked fun and I got it going.

No way in nirvana, Hoss. I found out decades ago to let my better 2/3's convince herself to push me into my hobbies.
