While I like the utility of using Bore Butter for shooting Maxi-Balls I find it frustrating to use in the desert heat. Turns to liquid and runs all over the hood of my Suzuki Samurai boonie vehicle I use as a shooting table. Something a bit less temperature dependent would be nice. Got me some Murphy's, bees wax and castor oil. I feel the need to do some lube brewing.

Delicious on toast.

That's a tried & true brew (as is just plain olive oil).

The best one for your gun is the best one. Calls for some experimenting.
