The item is much thicker than I envisioned from the original pictures.

I notice a seem around it now. Does the thinner section unscrew from the thicker part?

Clearly a dispenser of some type. Of the thin part doesn't come off, I would say salt or priming powder. If it does come off, caps might be feasible, but doubtful.

Thanks for the reply. The sections appear to be glued together, so I don't think I could get them apart. I'm thinking a flask of sorts is the ticket.
