It looks like a custom build to me. Probably made by someone in the U.S.

Years ago, Dixid sold barrels made by Douglas. One of the things many of them had in common was the bore was often off center. In fact, the Dixie Gun Works ad for these barrels said, and I quote,

"(Occasionally, you will find one end of the barrel off center. When this occurs, put the off center at the breech end where the breechplug goes. This does not affet the accuracy of the barrel.)"
Good builders who used these barrels usually put the offset bore in the vertical plane so the gun might shoot high or low but not right or left.

Zonie thank you once again. Its not a bad rifle it has a very sturdy stock very good rifling but the lock is lets say not of the best shape And the tang looks like it was beat in with a sledge hammer. My neighbor says it shoots very accurate,I disassembled the rifle today gave it a much needed cleaning.I was surprised with all the goop and rust you could even get a ball and patch down the barrel so I will take it for a day and see how good it shoots.

BTW, something to think about. If the gun has brass tacks on the left side of the stock and you have a beard, you may get a surprise when you shoot it. I bought a Bess that had been so decorated. After one shot pulled out a few hairs I quickly removed the tacks.

Lucky for me radiation treatments destroyed all my facial hair so I don’t have that issue anymore, see lemonade from lemons

now that's funny! when I was a young man I had long hair, my dad always had a used car lot and that is where I learned to work on cars. (I became a professional transmission man) when I would be on a creeper sometimes my hair would roll up in the wheel of the creeper! I would have to flop off of it and pull my hair out. wasn't funny then but it is now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
