I've been hearing a lot about that stuff? Could you tell me you routine with it? Some say mix with water, others alcohol? Any tricks to it? Thanks.

Lots of helpful information. To reply to the question of what problem I was having with Bore Butter,it was as a bore protectant, not as a patch or bullet lube. Since the rifle I was worried about was my Dad's, I wanted to make sure that I did my best to take care of it. He was a humble, simple man and it reminds me of him, it is indeed a keepsake.

Thanks everyone,

PW

I have had great performance with gunzilla. You can use it inside and out, also when cleaning the lock just hose her down and wipe off the excess. It works great for cleaning and lubricating.

Bore butter has worked for me. Never a problem with rust. I just use Hot tap water and simple green to clean. And dry barrel and bore butter the heck out of it.
