I’m no expert for sure. But when talk of schools comes up my eyes glaze over. While there were times and places did tend to make guns that looked similar and makers tended to make similar guns.
This looks to be federal period. I would hazzard Pennsylvania, Maryland or New York, possibly Kentucky
Too many atypical guns were produced for me to try and make a statement any closer
