I'm hoping for the best!

I've seen the need for "remedial" inletting twice- once on a TC and once on a Lyman. On the Lyman the inlet for the trigger plate was very slightly too narrow in one spot up front. Scraping with an Exacto knife to remove the finish and a slight bit of wood fixed that. Note that I said scraping rather than cutting. Could have done just as well with a needle file.

On the TC the inlet for the trigger plate was too deep aft, causing the plate to settle too far for clean function. I tried a shim first to confirm, then set the plate slightly higher with a permanent fix.

Between the two jobs, I bet I didn't have a whole half hour invested.

I have had several dealings with Tim at R.E.Davis and can vouch for both his honesty and the quality of the products he sells. On the other hand I don't have one of their triggers on my GPR as I have had no problems with the stock Lyman trigger. If I did have problems I would have no hesitation in buying one of their triggers. Frank
