ok after you quit laffin', i just picked up a used Navy Arms 1860 colt repro...naturally that schematic is missing from the navy arms site (typical ain't it) so i need to know what size the nipples are so i can replace them, and which caps fit the nipples...help..Lee

Navy Arms is a distributor, not a manufacturer, so the following may not be useful; it would help to know who actually made the gun.

Most Navy Arms guns were made by Pietta; on the assumption that's what you have, the nipples are probably M6x0.75x0.520 (that's a metric 6mm by 0.75mm thread and 0.520" long overall). The Treso part number is 11-50-10, or PIR-A on the Track of the Wolf web site.

Don't confuse that with Treso's 11-50-03,which is the same thread spec but significantly shorter overall and cone lengths.

dang learn something new everytime i look at something on here..yessir, it says made in italy, but that's all...thanks for the info, tho it did make my head hurt, technicalities always do,,,feller i appreciate you taking your time to help me,,,thank you very much...God Bless...Lee

You can do a search here as someone posted Maker's marks a while back to determine who made the gun. When I have time maybe I can find them and post. Otherwise, maybe someone who knows can do it. Emery
