I think mittens would be a great idea. I have a small beaver I didnt sell last year so I tanned it with a couple small or blue *****. I think a pair of easy on/off mittens would be great when checking traps on the ice or hunting when its 4 degrees out!

Great Idea.

Looking forward to the responses. I have one I used to use on a table with a display of various ml/rendezvous accoutrements. Looked nice but took up space I don't have anymore. Now, a beaver pelt is looking for a new job.

I knew what to do with them when i was younger.....oh wait a minute......... :haha:

Mittens are a great idea, I made a pair from a black beaver I caught many years ago. I lined them with thin suiting wool, they are incredibly warm.

make a round form out of green branches and make it look like a stretched hide in progress of being tanned. mount on wall

my feet happen to be cold right now so i'm thinkin moccasin liners, fur in or maybe camp shoes for the return to camp, bet that would be heaven after a day of damp or wet feet in the cold months.
