If the gov. bans lead projectiles, what will they make me do with my lead stash? Fine me $$$$$$per lb? I would be tempted to tell them "Sure, you can have all 600#'s of it....285 grains at a time." I have been trying to build up my lead supply for about 3 yrs now. I had to work hard and really beat the bushes to get my lead, and I can gauruntee (sp?) someone will have to work even harder to take it away from me!

If this post is not in the right place, feel free to move it.

Not to sound paranoid, but I would be hesitant to say what if anything about what I had on the computer, other than an interest in the sport/ hobby. :hmm:

Unless the government bans the possession of lead, they won't make you do anything. So far, I haven't heard anyone suggest that the possession of lead will be illegal. Have you?

Don't worry. It won't happen. Car batteries are predominantly made from lead, and they are in almot every home. And possession would be almost impossible to police, and cost buku bucks. They would then acquire the environmental liability for disposing of it, for buku more bucks.

Wonder if the same was said about DDT, lead paint and Asbestos? They seem not to care that over 100 million have died of malaria.

Asbestos and mercury is probably a comparable one. Ok to have in your home, but not to install any more, and requires special treatment to get rid of. It's only a hazard if it becomes airborne or on you--just like flying lead.

I strongly advise you to hide your stash as well as possible. Best to reduce it to small pieces so as to be harder to find. .490 round balls would be optimum. Then, ship them to me & I will carefully insert them into underground hiding holes in my backstop.

That won't work. The black helicopters can find them and micro trace them back to you. :nono:

the black helos could not find a guy they missed in a shootout at the border last week and the next day the border patrol guys practicing at the range 7 miles from the border ran out of ammo as they are only issued 72rds. i offered them some of mine but they took off to the office without targets to show if they hit anything.

The black helicopters can find them and micro trace them back to you.

But only after being dusted by the chemtrails!! So if you keep the stuff under ground when the planes are flying over....

A few other pertinent "facts":Breathing fumes from molten lead will give you dain bramage, Bigfoots are flying the black helicopters, Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper are sisters, Marilyn Monroe was on the grassy knoll, the Monroe Doctrine was written to prevent alien invation of the Americas, Barracks O'Bama will be at your door tomorrow morning to collect your guns and all your money to fund the importation of a more socialist doctrine and (drum roll please) the hand who played "thing" on the "Adams Family" used to be the drummer for Def Leppard!!!

Now I will got back to melting my lead for cast boolits.

Neverhoppen. US Army, US Marine Corps, US Air Force uses lead in their 5.56 and 7.62 rounds as well as spent uranium in the ma deuce and larger calibers. The US armed forces would not be exempt from any EPA ruling on lead bans. It has been tried and was thrown out except in some areas in the Peoples Republic of Kookafornia.
