Well, I guess it's a tie between my first ML kill about 1966 and a nice double buck kill in 2008. Both occurred in Ga. where I was born.
First one; I was sitting in my built tree stand when a nice bobcat came within shooting distance and a week later a second one made the same mistake at the same stand.
Second; In 2008 I'd no sooner climbed into my stand when I saw a buck watching me. My .45 flinter spoke. About 45 minutes later a nice 8 pointer strolled by and I dropped him too.
Hard to decide which was the most memorable.
