Hi All!

Does anybody know a reputable gunsmith in Europe who still manufactures 17th Century replica wheellock pistols?

I would be interested in commissioning a pair.

I unfortunately do not know his email. I've only communicated with him through Facebook messenger.

Wheellock pistol reproductions generally start around €2,500, so keep that in mind.

That's usually the price just for the lock. I can't imagine what an entire pistol would cost. Probably around E10,000 depending on how fancy. I have five of Bolek's locks. They are superb but cost between E2500 and E3500 apiece.

Another option is Rafal Zoilko, also in Poland. I have two of his wheellock pistols. Very nice, but importing them is a bit of a pain and adds a lot to the cost.

Be advised that ordering anything from these two craftsmen usually involves a 6 month to one year wait.
