From what I can glean, Trackofthewolf.com gets their barrels from GM, but does anyone know where the locks come from? Do they buy the castings and assemble them or are they Italian or what?

Just curious.

Track sells Davis, L&R and Chambers locks for sure. Maybe one or two other makers that I'm not aware of. Most of their lock detailed descriptions will tell you who the maker is. As far as I can see, they are all American made.

While they may assemble some locks, I rather doubt it given that they are a high volume ml supplier (relative to most suppliers of ml stuff). Probably don't have the time or personnel to put into assembling locks.

They do sell lock kits that you can build yourself. Once again, they are the same as the assembled locks they sell but in kit form.

I live near track, to my knowledge they don't "assemble" anything, they are just a retail outfit specializing in ML gear. The don't have a
"Track of the Wolf Lock"
They always state what maker's parts are offered in their kit's but you have the option of getting whatever you want.

They are primarily a mail order supplier, they do have a small walk in show room, perhaps 16'x16' open limited weekday hours for us locals and anyone traveling through, but you flip through the catalog and point to what you want,,then they go back and get it.
Neat thing is you can handle some of the fine arms they have for sale, some real buet's!
