went and did a search on gunbroker, lots of choices but didnt find any .440, lots of .445

I wish I were but I'm stuck in The Peoples Republic of Austin until it's safe to sell out move out. Thanks for the offer. I want to see see which shoots better between .440 and .435 and then I'll start casting for the one I like.

Lee molds sre cheap enough that I reccomend buying one of each of the two diameters.

That really is the best option, imho. I cast for everything I shoot these days and haven't bought balls in a long while. I didn't suggest it earlier only because I didn't know if you had the gear to do so.
