i like to check out "the little guy" every once in a while.. sometimes they have old stock to move and might cut a deal..

haven't personally purchased from any of these yet.

these are from the NMLRA classifieds:

Graf's is fine, but expensive.

The above prices are shipped to your door (they include hazmat and shipping costs) and are current as to Feb. 19th 2009.

You can get great deals by order bulk on-line. However, if you want to find some place "local", it's time to pick up the phone. After making over 10 calls to sport shops in my area I found a place that sells GOEX. Some guys behind the desk don't know that Pyrodex isn't real black powder, so you'll have to ask for it by brand name, like GOEX, SWISS, etc.

I've been using KIK from powder Inc. Love it. Only complaint is the plastic cans have an odd size thread for the cap, so the spouts that fit Goex or Swiss cans do not work. Other than that it is great stuff and it's cheaper for me to have it shipped in a 25 pound mixed lot, then it is for me to take a ride to PA for a 25 pound bulk purchase of one granual size of Goex.

You could also go to the GOEX website, click on "Distributors" and find your nearest distributor. Might save you shipping and haz mat fees if there is one near enough to you to drive to.

I buy from Coonies. They don't take credit cards. So I call them, find out the price for what I want. Send them a check and the powder arrives at my door.

They have been good people to buy powder from.

Many Klatch
