Which Caliber SMR

So I can use your opinion. I’m about to pull the trigger (pun intended) on a Kibler SMR. My primary use would be target and general range plinking along with some squirrel hunting. What caliber would you recommend? I currently own two 50 cal Hawkens, a 50 cal Woodsrunner and a 44 caliber Euroarms longrifle.

I love my .40, load down to 25-30grs FFF for squirrels and has a heavier ball for target shooting vs the .32 or .36...

40. I have a .45, no regrets, but I wanted something a little better at 100 yards. With a 1 turn in 70" twist it doesn't like to be downloaded much and so wouldn't be all that great for squirrels unless I was really needing squirrel meat.

I originally wanted a .40, but bought a skillfully assembled and finished .36 locally. I am very happy with the .36, plenty for Squirrel and targets. It is also cheap and easy to load with the 10 pounds .350 diameter Buck Shot I bought off a forum member.
