I Am Interested In Old Technology Weapons.

LeMat, DA Starr or go with the uncommon like a Whitneyville Dragoon, Rogers & Spencer or Spiller & Burr. The .36 pocket frame Colts are fun revolvers.

I Am Also Kinda Interested In A "LeMat" Revolver As A Curio. Nine Shots and A Shotgun Barrel To Boot ! Only Thing Is I've Heard They Have A Weak Action And If I'm Going To Pay That Much I Don't Want It To Break !

Two area of the LeMat are less than robust. The loading lever, just don't try and ram a .457 rb, it's made for .451's. The second is the hammer nose. To fire the center barrel you have to fold the nose down, just don't be a gorilla and you'll be fine. The 'action' of the LeMat is fine but don't fan it.

In the movie show The Patriot, has anyone ever spotted what make of pistol it was that the bad guy had? There was a good view of it a couple of times.

They Are Interesting Pistols ! Just Another Reason I Like This Forum, Are The (New To Me) Sites That Sell Blackpowder Goodes :applause:

Those Guns Are Fine Works Of Art. High Art At That. I Would Love To Own Any One Of Them But I Need To Win The Lotto 1st.

I see that both the Walker Colt and the Lemat have been suggested (if you are considering a revolver). Of the two, I would recommend the Walker first. It is an awesome gun and considering the primative sights, quite accurate. The Lemat is also impressive and is a hoot to shoot. Mine, however, did require some tinkering to make the shotgun barrel fire more or less reliably :(
