Whispering Pines / Cherry Flats Anyone?

I'm planning to head back to Whispering Pines at Cherry Flats near Wellsboro, PA August 15-16. Anyone else planning to go?

I went two years ago and had a blast with Shep and "the Old Man." I hope I run into them again.

Here's what I'll look like, more or less. Say hello if you see me.

Where in PA is this event? I have heard it is a nice gathering. How large is the attendance. Do you have to preregister?

Whispering Pines is in North Central Pa, a little South West of Mansfield, South East of Wellsboro, and more or less North of Williamsport. As to pre-regestration I don't know.

It's in Tioga Co, near Wellsboro - Endless Mountains. I didn't have to preregister when I went two years ago. As to numbers - couldn't say. It seemed like a fair number, but I couldn't put a count on it.

There is no pre registration at "The Pines" for this rendezvous. We are located in Cherry Flats, Pa. and this can be found on Map Quest or you can PM me for a flyer. There will be about 20 matches this year, some for rifle, pistol, trade gun, and black powder cartridge rifles. Plus a woodswalk for rifle and smoothbors. We have primative and modern camping with free wood and water. We also have a kitchen serving breakfast and lunch and a covered range.
You are welcome to camp from Wed. Aug. 12th until Mon. Aug 17th. for a fee of $15.00 per camp.
You do not have to be in primitive dress to camp or compete in andy of the events at The Pines.
