Anyone have a white lighting liner, what do you think of it. anyone have to replace one , how long do they last.

In stalled probably 50 of them. Like them. Have about 4000 shots thru one of my own & no issues yet. Wish ALL vent liners had threads all the way to the top of the seat like the White Lightning.
Only one I removed is the first one I put in. I didn't install it deep enough & by the time I filed it flush, I had no straight wall left in the vent hole. Took it out & seated the next one deeper & been there for years now.

How did you remove the liner. Just curious for future reference. Andy

Just drill it out a bit and use an easy out, or something sqaure to drive into the hole and unscrew it ... :v

All my guns use them and I have no complaints.
Swampy (or anyone else), what is so different about the White Lightning liner other than the fact it is a non-standard tap size? In other words, why are they said to be so much better than any other vent liner? Thanks. Emery

I also use them 100% of the time. As far as advantages and it's just my opinion...the large parabolic "funnel" fills w/ powder more easily than a cone and the short TH land of approx. 1/32" brings the powder very close to the prime. The reason for the 32TPI is that it allows for a larger parabolic "funnel" because the thread depth is shallower. Because they're made of stainless steel, the TH won't erode for who knows how many shots. The ignition time is extremely fast, but more important to me is the reliability of ignition....Fred
