I carry a small cheap pocket watch most days; I have used a regular wrist watch with the band cut off and just carried it in my pocket. I do like to know the time just because the rest of the world runs by it.

I don't hunt in period dress. I carry a watch with me into the woods so I'll know when it's time to go home. I can only hunt half the day (usually daylight till noon) and need to know the time. Actually I can usually judge within 10 to 15 minutes of what the time is.

I carry a timepiece while I'm hunting.But just a inexpensive quartz wristwatch in my pocket.I couldnt stand losing my prized watches in the woods.

I'm kind of O.C.D. when it comes to knowing the time, so I always carry a cheap pocket watch at vous.The rest of the time, the cell phone works just fine. :2
