Lawn, or porch decoration?

I could go with that. Americans made a lot of cannons for their civil war and they didn't seem to worry so much about bands at the ends of the reinforcements, faddy bits at the muzzle and decorative cascabels, "What have dolphins got do do with a cannon y'all?" :youcrazy:
Meaning, when someone wanted one casting up for the yacht club and wanted pirate rather than Stonewall Jackson they had nothing to copy

How much more of this junk have you got?
Over on the MLAGB web site in Sales and Wants someone has posted a really nice 12g double by W Chance and Sons. The engraving is to die for, I sort of offered £450 but I will go higher given half a chance, feel free to compete. Stop buying rubbish, get something nice, a bit of eye candy we can all drool over.

If you are referring to the William Chance, I presume this means you are planning to make an offer :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
Squire Robin said:Steady on TAC I was not saying you couldn't shoot. I was humorously suggesting that comparing the fine piece up for sale to a mud anchor might be an attempt to deter bidders and reduce the price :surrender:
