Ive been gifted this Hawken style rifle by my Grandfather. It’s in pretty good shape and mechanically sound. I’m not sure who made this though. My guess is that it’s a CVA or maybe pre-CVA Spanish made gun. I can’t find anything on the barrel about country of origin or even caliber. (I measured it’s a 50) seems strange to me none of that is on it just a serial number, proof marks, and the word Hawken. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree, its a CVA Hawken or could be the older company Jukar not sure if they made a Hawken or not. But it looks like the same rifle that is now sold as the Traditions Hawken Woodsman. Same Adjustable rear sight and same style front sight. Great rifles, clean that baby up and have fun with it.

I was pretty sure it was a CVA as well. I plan on shooting it soon. Has a nice bore so we’ll see how it does.
