I sort of use one. I made a little tool and flint pouch out of canvas a while back. I sewed a couple of pockets in to it to hold two flints. It's sitting on top of my bag in this photo.

I use one. I like to have everything I need to change a flint in one easy to grab little wallet.

Here is the one I made up to use with my gear, if it works out I will make up enough of these to put in each of the shooting bags for each firearm.

Can't beat them for simplicity...carried this for years now...have never had to change a flint or leather in the field, but sure as I leave this home I'd need to.

MY 'flint wallet' is extra light weight & waterproof, too. In fact I have several, some even have precut lead wrap, too:

They're those little ziplock bags flints, touch hole liners & small parts come in ...

I use a flint wallet. It has three extra tool slots. It easily holds three flints, a turn screw, a small knapping hammer, some tow and a couple pre-made flint leathers. It makes a nice little organized tool kit to get that lock sparking again.
