Just getting over a heavy duty cold but if I have the strength to get up early tomorrow morning I'm going to sling some lead...those boxes of low priced Hornady .530's arrived and I think that new .54cal Flint smoothbore is all cooled down from the November rut so I guess I'll drag it along with me...

saw you got those RB's cheap, where did you get them so cheap? I bought some Tuesday and paid $11.00 a box for .530's.

Jon, I had stumbled across an auction where a guy had them listed for $7.50/box, and that he had 22 boxes of them...went back and forth with a couple Emails about the best possible price if I bought them all, settled on $6.75/box.

Already slung (slanged??, flung??) lead yesterday. My weekends are offset a few days from the rest of the world. At least I usually have the range to myself.

Was hopeing to get out this weekend and shoot my Investarms .58 hawken for the first time, but im stuck home with the kids, i could take them with me but sometimes it just seems to hard, there fighting and crying right now :cursing:

When I was a little kid I remember overhearing some "grownups" in the other room commenting about how glad they'll be when "their kids are grown and out on their own"...didn't understand it back then...but now, with my Son and Daughter up and out on their own...I completely understand!

I'm going shooting tomorrow.
Sunday is my regular shooting day but due to Mothers Day I have to go tomorrow.
I wouldn't want to deal with the wife if I went out shooting on her "day off".

i'm shooting tomorrow, first match of the year. of course i had to put new sights on my favorite rifle. at least i have an excuse planned if i shoot poorly. :bull:

I went shooting last weekend in the rain with my flintlock, which I'm sure many of you know is a lesson in frustration........especially when a big fat rain drop falls in your flash pan right before you close the frizzen :cursing:

The wife went to the discount malls shopping, so I got a little shooting in between the rains...............
