Who's your favorite (real) mountain man and why?Mine was Old Bill Williams...He was a cantankerous, ornery, un-washed loner who loved the wild frontier.

In Disney's movie, The saga of Andy Burnett" Ol' Bill Williams was played by actor Slim Pickens...

I would have to say Hugh Glass.He lived a very adventurous life and was a tough old bird.
