In the field..lets say VC used strike anyplace match heads as smokeless powder, and as Zonie said and I first put up here this is a NO-NO . fred :hatsoff:
 
Perhaps he thought a chamber full of "Bullseye" would make it more accurate!! Before yo laugh to hard, one of our Texas "Darwin Award" winners tried it in his .44 Maggie! Same result!! :haha:
 
Just what I was thinking.

Couple of gun shows ago, a feller was looking at some muzzleloaders I had for sale. He said he'd never own one though, as they blow up too easily! I asked him what he meant and he said his brother had blown up 4! What kind of idiot doesn't learn his lesson after blowing up the first one? Geez.

Looks like smokeless to me...no barrel or forcing cone damage like a squib would produce.

Who let the idiot have three more muzzleloaders? I think someone was trying to kill him off. If at first you don't succeed, ....
 
Got one that one right. In my 30 odd yrs Ive shot one drum out of a old CVA, didnt hurt anyone or anything, but Im carefull about that, we never found out where that drum went but the barrel threads were rusted up bad - something I should of pullled and looked at as soon as I got it and not ran out and shot it ...Im older and smarter now. :shake: :rotf: Fred :hatsoff:
