Something was said about Illinois being one of the places that muzzleloaders needed to go thru an FFL? Could be State OR County restrictions? Could also be B*** S***. Know where you're going tom ship.

This is not correct.

Muzzleloaders can be sold and mailed most anywhere in the US. A black powder cartridge gun goes thru an FFL regardless of when made.
That’s not correct either. You’re legally able to buy any numbe of cartridge firearms because they are antiques made before the cutoff date. Or did you believe the ATF is just overlooking the thousands of online ads for antique Colt and Remington revolvers built before 1898. Maybe there are thousands of ffl dealers who are putting their business in jeopardy by selling these guns directly in the mail. Just like the halcyon days prior to the 1968 GCA…
