I never realized William Buchele was a horn builder until I saw this horn. Like most of us who ever thought they were destined to be gun builders, I absorbed every word of his book, “Recreating the Kentucky Rifle”, but his horns slipped past me. Here’s one he built for a friend of mine around 1970. You can see his penchant for folk art in the base plug.

That is a very interesting horn. I really like the treatment he gave to the plug around the edge. The whole thing is very creative. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
