Saw in Wally World the other day some Winchester caps I took to be #11. Was in a hurry (wife pushing me along you know) and didn't take the time to look at them. Anybody know anything about them? Just wondering.

The Winchester Arms co. sold "Musket Caps" dated 1867. They bought them from J. Goldmark and sons and carried the WCF brand name. The orginal cans show up from time to time for about $20.00.

As for modern Winchester Caps?? They are in the Inline production and sales. They may have marked some of their shot gun primers for this arm. I think they use a Winchester 109 shot shell primmer. Be sure and check them out before you put the money down.

WVBUCKBUSTER,
These Winchester caps at Wally World are indeed No 11 caps. I picked up a tin of them a few weeks ago. I have used a couple dozen of them on my Pedersoli double barrel, loaded with Pyrodex powder, with good success. Could not see any difference between the CCI or Remington caps I have used in the past.

That is good to know! They were in a tin just like cci or any other. Thought I might pick some up and give them a try. Thanks.
