Blackhand and Mad Dog Reno, looks like a great fun weekend, but where was the sauna? You all have some beautiful guns, accoutrements, equipment and clothing. In what part of Finland did you trek?

Thank you for sharing! That was AWESOME!
The dog looks like he/she's enjoying it as much as everyone else and those are some great women to do that with you! Hats off... :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

Thanks! I went sauna right away when come home from the trek! Because first night was -22 (celcius) cold so Saunas warm was wonderfull. Our trek was in middle of finland, between Tampere and Helsinki.

Yes the "she" dog (breed is samojed) is wonderfull and it's Blackhands and dogs name is "Jötkis or Jöde" . We have also samojed, but mutch younger and she is called "Spirit", but she is born dynamite in she's arse and the fuse is burning. Because she is so lively! Yes the ladys was very tuff and they made history when come our trek. Because it's was first time when women was with us making the trek! So i think same that ... hats off to the ladys :hatsoff:

Here is ours Spirit!

Mad Dog - I notice alot of interesting things on your belt... could you give me a run down of your kit when you get a chance? Thanks and the photos are awesome!

Fantastic! I envy you. Always loved getting out there in the winter when I lived up North, but we almost never get it down here. (It was in the 80's today!) I spend all this time making nice buckskin to wear, and it's too blasted hot to wear it!

Anyway, I loved the pics. Thanks for sharing.

Howdy! Okay....

Fist my tomahawk what i have made. Notice it's almoust like Mel Gipson had in Patriot.
Btw. with this tomahawk i won 2003 Finnish Champpionchip in axe throwing. And later many more other competitions, so it's very fine at throw.

Then the "case" to the tomahawk because it's very sharp. It's have some bead works what i made.

We won't say anything to the telephone company about their missing poles! :winking:

Heh! Right.... but here in Finland we can't burn telephone poles beacause they are impregnated with poisonous substance.
