Wm. Kennedy pistol

Years ago I bought a pistol kit from Bill Kennedy, a Richard Wilson Georgian flintlock. I also bought the recommended Queen Anne lock . Having never built a gun of any sort I soon realized the job was way above my skill level, so I sold the kit and lock. I really wanted that pistol and was very disappointed I'd never have it, so I asked the buyer to send me pictures of the pistol when he had it finished. He apparently decided it was above his pay level, too, so he hired a couple of gunsmith brothers to do the job. I was even more disappointed when I saw it.

I’ve been realizing that “ gunsmith “ and traditional muzzleloaders don’t go together. All most of these people can do is swap AR 15 parts around. No craftsmanship anymore.

Yes, I've been following your tutorial, Dave. Remarkable craftsmanship. I never saw the pistol I posted about after it was finished, but I'm certain it would never measure up to yours.
