So I bought some of these out of curiousity and yes I know they are not a necessity but they are cool! Totally for lazy people which is me...I can't wait to try them at the range.

Those always looked like a good idea but I am way too cheap to spend that much on them.

They seem to work well enough. A lot less messy than other types of chamber grease. Once I use mine up, though, I doubt I'll buy them again.

I use another brand felt wad in my Pietta Colt .44 revolver. Pour my 15 grains FFFg into the chamber, seat a wad then place the .451 roundball and seat the ball firmly on top of the powder. Since I am at the range, I fill all six chambers, cap each nipple and fire until empty. Repeat as many times as I want.

I've used them and on my target at 25 yards I had extra holes from the wads. This tells me they are not doing any type of lubitcation in the bore and possibly sticking to the ball. All they do is seal the chamber.
